People selling my product on Amazon - Cheaper than me!  How?

Hi, I have a few CDs I have created via Createspace and they are available on Amazon.

Thing is, I noticed that recently people are selling my CDs for $10 cheaper than my listing price.  I don't understand how this can be.  This is not the usual Any_books situation where they charnge $999 for a item.

In this case I am selling for $16.99 and these other sellers are selling for $7.99.  The claim the product is 'Used - Like New', thing is, I haven't sold enough products for them to be listing all the items they are listing.  Any ideas what is going on?

As with the books CS prints and distributes on Amazon, any 3rd party vendor can throw up a listing at any price they want, and claim any condition they want. My guess is (as with the books) they don't actually have a single copy of your CD, but if someone ordered it from them, they'd order it from CS, then charge the customer enough on shipping to make up the difference. Happens all the time on the book side.

That same point comes up in the discussions about books. Most of these 3rd party sellers aren't offering products to make money. When they offer if for less than your retail, they take a hit IF they actually sell any. According to other posts on the subject about CS books, some of these 3rd party sellers are really trying to gather contact information for other purposes. They are legitimate, as far as Amazon is concerned, but we may not always agree with their motivations.

It isn't possible. I have ordered a number of "used" books from 3rd party sellers through Amazon and they have all been in mint condition.

The only way it can happen is if someone buys your product, reads it, and decides to sell it. If you have made no sales then even the used products offered are new product.
