Pro Plan

Can anyone speak about pro plan? Is it worth the effort. The price states $39.00 / book. I take this to mean $39.00 per submission, not per copy?

Re: Pro Plan

Hi Rage,

Welcome to the CS community . . . !

Can anyone speak about pro plan? Is it worth the effort. The price states $39.00 / book. I take this to mean $39.00 per submission, not per copy?

Is it worth the effort - in my opinion yes.

The $39.00 is a one time fee and with a $5 renewel fee each year thereafter.

The Pro Plan will reduce the fixed and per-page charges on your orders.

This charge is not per book (CS makes it confusing the way they explain it) It's a 1-time charge and then $5- yearly renewel.

So each time you or someone else pays for the book - you do not have to pay the $39- fee.

Here are a couple benefits to the Pro Plan that CS explains on one of their help pages:

What you pay for Proof Copies

- The cost for a proof copy is the same as the cost for a single book, plus shipping and handling.

- You pay this amount when you place your order and you don't earn royalties for proof copies.

Member Orders

- Orders placed through your account for your title are referred to as "Member Orders."

A few important notes about Member Orders:

- You pay just the fixed charge and per-page charge, plus shipping and handling.

- You pay for your books at the time of ordering.

- You don't earn royalties when you purchase your own title.

- Sales tax may apply to your order.

- Member pricing only applies to orders placed through your account for your own title.

- We don't offer volume discounts on book orders.

For further reference, simply click on the 'Pricing and Royalties' tab on this page:

Hope this clears it up for you.
