Hope I will be forgiven for posting that here. But I'm genuinely excited and I never dreamed I would be.

Congrats, Renee. My novel, The Settler, is now on sale on Amazon.com. However, if you search for that title you cannot find it. Only by adding my name to the search string does it appear. Am I being impatient? It went onto Amazon on March12.

I to have a book on Amazon but have sold none. Again, you have to do something and I am at a loss. Not even my "friends" will buy copies of my books. I am beginning to think there is something very wrong, but then I read some of what I have written and compare it with other books I have read and it seems to be of the same quality so I'm thinking it is all in the advertising. My next step is going to be to get my books ready for Kindle & other like contraptions. You have me by nine years but I know what you mean about having the energy to be persistant. I like your spunk!

Right, the harder part of writing a book is marketing it. Advertise it on book promoting sites. You can start with my site (it's free): http://askdavid.com/free-book-promotion
it's going to take a little while for your title to fully populate in Amazon search results. so just hold your horses!
in the meantime, you can try a few marketing tips here: http://www.goodbookstoday.com/bookmarketing
i wish you the best of luck!
