Block quotes

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me.

I am writing a nonfiction book. This is my first book. To help, I downloaded the Createpace template, the one which has writing in it, you know, the one that says "Chaper One" etc  I'm trying to figure out how to do block quotes in a way that is consistent. Where I'm quoting a couple of sentence of another book or article and citing it. (with footnotes, of course) I was figuring I could do it as two tab hits, and one tab hit for just normally indented paragraphs. But I'm worried about it being uniform. It seems that each page is a little different in terms of exactly where on the page the block quote starts.

can anyone give me some advice on how to properly format those block quotes?

Re: Block quotes

Create a paragraph style with the desired indentation. Consistency is difficult to attain without using styles. Here's a how-to, one of many available online.
