Re: Indian Writers

Well... I'm trying to figure out what being Indian has to do with being a good writer, so off hand, you could start with a relevant title. If being Indian is relevant, then you need to be specific. Native American? Or East Indian? Are you trying to attract other writers of your culture? I get that this is an informal post, but since you are asking for tips... correct punctuation is a good start.

There are no shortcuts. You'll need to master the basics of English grammar first. Fortunately, an abundance of free online tutorials, how-to's, and other materials are only a mouse click away. For example, this one.

Re: Indian Writers

Need clarification on what kind of Indian writing you are referring to. But writing is writing irrespective of what culture you write about, the fundamental rules are still the same:

Be ethnic to the core if you want to write about a specific culture. Don't be afraid to go deep. Every new revelation is refreshing and new for the readers.

Good writng will get you plenty of followers.

And above all write every day even if for 10 minutes.

Good Luck!

Here's a good working tip: eschew 'very'. In this respect, your OP is exemplary.

Indeed. I thought it a very fair advertisement of service. Worth leaving for the world to see.

No need to be a good Indian writer - just a good writer will do the job

Re: Indian Writers

As opposed to a good Pakistani writer?

Seriously, get a high school grammar book and study it.

Then, do a lot of reading of good writers -- those whose books would be read in Literature class.
