Help! CS Suppressed Title and Demanding Author Name Change?

We retired a title for the press that had the wrong ISBN.

We started a new title with same title and author name, etc.

We get a mail from CS content stating we are in violation of content guidelines and will have our account deleted IF we do not change contributor name (author).

We reply with lots of info stating we have NOT violated guidelines, provide proof of author's existence, and restate the events that led up to the creation of the new title.

After three response mails, we receive an unsigned response back stating we MUST change the contributor's name or risk having our account canceled.

WE ARE IN A KAFKAESQUE NIGHTMARE THAT REFUSES TO END. IT IS INSANE, INAPPROPRIATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND JUST PLAIN TIME WASTING FOR ALL CONCERNED.

Help, someone, please God!!!!

The title is called DIE BACK and it is shown in our account as "suppressed."

Is it possible to change the contributor nam by adding a middle initiaL or suffix? (John A. Doe or John Doe Jr)

SomeFinally luked out, got antimes it's better to just play along.

I sympathize, had several rounds of being told my cover spine type was too large, when it was not.  Finally lucked out, got someone able to understand.

If not, CS does have a phone number or there is the option to send an email and ask to be callled back.  I no longer have that number, sorry.

You should have called and it would have been resolved immediately. I have found that the email team relies on canned responses and don't really read what you write. They have less authority than the folks who talk on the phone.
