Isn't $12.55 Alot For A Paperback?

Do people buy paperbacks for $12.55?  That was the lowest price for a paperback that I could do on createspace.

Two factors affect printing cost: the number of pages and whether it's in color. If the latter, be advised that color is much more expensive than black and white.

I successfully sell my paperbacks for double that amount. Keep in mind that CS publishes "trade" paperbacks, not the cheaper "mass market" paperbacks you might be thinking of.

Hey guys! I'm new to createspace and I'm in the process of publishing a book, but the lowest price option was $12.55. That's a lot for a paperback. Do you guys know if there's a cheaper way to sell your paperback than $12.55?
