Anyone have luck going on a digital or local radio station? Other ideas inside.

I hear on NPR now and then authors plugging their books. I myself have done a segment on some digital radio stations, The Powerhour for example, for work related. Anyone done similar?

How about a Youtube video channel and segment?

Or going to a local bookstore and execyting a presentation, Q&A, book sign and sell. etc.

Yes, all these things, and I believe authors will want to do them as much as time permits -- if nothing else, for the practice of doing it, so when and if a real opportunity presents itself that could bring significant attention to the book, the author is prepared to make the most of it.
