Photo Graphic of Book

Hi all.  Don't know that I've even used the right terminology;  but does anyone know how you can obtain a

graphic of one's book to put on a website - like an ad, but an exact copy of your book cover?   I created

my own bookcover, bought the front cover photo from Fotolia, so I have that in my file;  but I'd like

an image of the whole cover.

Re: Photo Graphic of Book

Open the PDF of your book cover that you made in a graphics program (eg. Photoshop), then crop the spine and back section off, and resize it as desired. Save as a JPG.

In that case, Cover Creator should have given you a JPG version, which you can view and download from your account dashboard. View it on your screen, then right click on the image and choose Save As. This will download it to your PC, and you can then crop and resize as needed.

Re: Photo Graphic of Book

I don't use Cover Creator, but I've worked with a couple of authors who did and they said they were unable to get the JPG version mentioned above.  What they ended up doing was bringing up the cover thumbnails in their dashboards and clicking “Full Size Preview” -- then taking a screen shot or grab of the cover, and saving that as a jpeg image.  The results were reasonably good on the ones I saw, so if the previous suggestion doesn't work, you might try that.  Good luck.
