How do you format plays and scenes for publishing

There are many ways to format a play. If there is no preferred format, then most agents and publishers would require something along the lines of  Looking at plays over the years, there is wide variation.  Between Samual French and Dramatists there is little difference, and neither follows what I linked to: personally, I find these difficult to use.
