Need formatting help

Anyone else having gutter issues using templates?

I used the formatted 6x9 template for my 248-page book, with several images. Passed review, though it did note an "insufficient gutter." I thought it was ok on the digital proof, but on the physical proof, it's clearly an issue; the gutter is too narrow only on the odd side (left side of the physical book proof. I followed the guidelines and made sure the gutters were 0.6, but the outside margins don't look right (too narrow on the odd pages, almost over the bleed). The layout doesn't look symmetrical, even with mirror margins.

What am I doing wrong, and how can I fix this?

Thanks!

Re: Need formatting help

What do you mean by gutter?

What do you mean by 'over the bleed'?

Explain how you equate left side with odd side.

And what software are you using?

Re: Need formatting help

I had this happen and had to download the template again. When I cut and pasted into the new format everything was perfect. Good luck!
