Does the cover count as a page in the page number?

Are any other pages like back cover not included?

No, not in a perfect-bound paperback (i.e., what CreateSpace produces).

Re: Does the cover count as a page in the page number?

Not sure what you're asking.

for printing purposes the number of pages is an even number, twice the number of sheets inside the book (the cover doesn't count.)  So you count everything inside, including any blank pages.

If you're asking about page numbers on each page, you usually don't count the "front matter' (title page, copyright page, table of contents, any blank pages, and start numbering with number 1 on the first page of text (your novel or whatever) which is a right hand page.  Often the page number is notprinted on the first page of a novel or first page of a chapter.

Because the cover is a separate file, you do not include the extra four "pages" in your interior page count. You only count what is inside the cover.
