Technical book

Hi I am brand new to this space. I am planning to publish a Computer Softwre related Technical book. The entire book is ready in microsoft word, in an unformatted condition with pictures/screenshot as jpeg images. I need some guidance on

1.What is the best way to start creating my book on CS?

2.Any suggestion on how to format?

3.Any tool I can use from CreateSpace to check/fix spelling/grammer mistakes?

4.Any other helpful tips?

Thank you.

Re: Technical book

CreateSpace is a printer; they print what you upload, assuming it meets their stated printing specifications (https://www.createspace.com/ServicesWorkflow/ResourceDownload.do?id=1583). That's it.

You must create an interior file that looks exactly as you want the printed book to look, on your own system, and then upload a PDF file (ideally) of the complete interior. How you create that file is up to you, the tools you have available to you, and your skills with those tools.
