Help writing a 2-3 sentence bio?

I have a "local author showcase" with a few other fellow authors in my library and I need to submit a bio for their promotional materials. As this is my first time, I would appreciate suggestions or a webpage where I can find some examples. Do I write in 3rd person? Do I talk only about me and nothing about the book?

Thank you.

Here is a start for you.

Local author, Steven W. Johnson, has writen a humorous book titled The Curious Misadventures of Tubby Wexler, Private Investigator. Tubby Wexler believes he is the personification of the 30s, 40s, and 50s pulp magazine detectives. He has a run down office in a dilapidated building, a failthful, if untrained canine, a beautiful, voluptous Cajun secretary and a host of bizarre clients. The only thing Tubby doesn't have - is a clue!

Notice that I stress "local author, my name, the genre, and the name of the book" before giving a taste of what the book is about.

Hope this helps.
