How do you page format in Word 2013?

I am using Word 2013, but am having a devil of a time formatting it.  Biggest problem is do I use PAGE BREAK or CONTINUOUS BREAK in going from one page to another in the same chapter?  No matter what I try, it seems to just get worse!

Re: How do you page format in Word 2013?

You don't generally break pages manually, you let the page "fill" up and then it will go to the next page automatically.  If you're inserting page breaks often or for every page then you've obviously got a steep learning curve in front of you and you'd best go and take an MS-Word class somewhere.  Wait until you get to wanting to insert page numbers, but you want no page numbers on the first 3 or 4 pages, small roman numerals on pages 5 - 8 and then want to start with Page 1 on the first page of the first real chapter.  Yes, you need to find a class, or else a good friend with lots of patience.
