Market on FACEBOOK!!!

We're trying a different marketing approach; creating Facebook pages for our films and books!

There's a Facebook network of over 300 million members. And you can create a page for your film or book. It's free.

Here's our new Film page on Facebook for our hit comedy short film PHONE SEX GRANDMA:

Visit our page, and let us know what you think.

Do you have a Facebook page for your product? If so, post it here. Let's share our Facebook pages, and help each other!

It looks good. You're off to a nice start. The book looks interesting.

Re: Market on FACEBOOK!!!

I have a Facebook group page for my book at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=159186187022&ref=ts but it doesn't seem to be doing me any good from a marketing perspective.   I even tried a contest to generate enthusiasm and received low results, any suggestions on how I might improve it would be appreciated.

Re: Market on FACEBOOK!!!

I created a FB fan page for my book. Only one 'fan' is a somebody who isn't already a direct friend, but it obviously doesn't hurt to try to get the word out.

Re: Market on FACEBOOK!!!

OK I made a facebook page for my character Homer the dulcimer. I saw what someone else posted that it did not help them much. So thinking about it I decided to make a facebook game of it. As I get fans I am going to give clues of where you might find Homer. I will probably run it on a monthly basis and decide where he will be on a certain date. I will then give clues during the month on facebook. Then on the designated date Homer will be where I have decided and the first facebook fan to show up and state they followed Homer on facebook would win a signed copy of the book Dulcimer X'ing. Good idea or Bad idea? Each month might be a different give away. One month a book, one month a tee-shirt, one month a mug, ectera. I also have a zazzle store where you can buy different Homer items. This might bring additional interest for the book and for Homer!
